Ex-Cavalry officer, Heinrich Wharton rides into a new town with a dead man over his second horse.  He meets Sheriff John Stone and changes his life.  Hoss barely gets settled before the afternoon is torn apart by the thunder of hooves and lightning of gunfire.  The town bank has been robbed.  The Sheriff asks the Bounty Hunter to join him in chasing down the bank robbers and bring them to justice.  Hoss agrees, as long as he's getting paid.   Now, the ex-soldier turned bounty hunter will meet a beautiful woman and an honest banker and find a town worth defending.  He has only to learn a new role; lawman.  Can Hoss put aside a burning desire for revenge on a cold world and take up the silver star of deputy, or will he saddle his horse and ride back into the sunset.
