Augusts "Gus" Woodward's arrival in Honor, Michigan isn't what he was expecting. A strange strain of rabies has been plaguing the wilderness around the sleepy town, and with two deaths and even more disappearances, the violence doesn't seem to be stopping soon. When Gus is inadvertently thrust into the center of the mystery, he is thrown into a world the likes of which he'd only ever read about in stories, and he begins to learn that there is more about himself, than even he truly understood.
