Elliot wasn't the smartest person, even back in his school days. He woke up, he lived life to the best of his abilities, and then he'd fall asleep. His brain really wasn't hardwired for thinking about the future, so when he was suddenly in the middle of a forest with nothing but the clothes on his back, he was obviously unprepared for what would come next.  Obviously, the fact that it was another world also didn't really help.  Monsters, magic, family... a bunch of things that were just a fantasy in his old world would soon slowly become commonplace. What that meant for Elliot, he had no idea. (I'm participating in the royal road marathon)
