Synopsis
The world is grim, and the people are few.
Years ago, a glimmering comet descended onto the earth holding precious artifacts; scattered among the lands, it is said that whoever can mend them together will be granted the most valuable relic of all time: the Philosopher's Stone.
From scholar to beggar, Andrei struggles to live in a city that gives little attention to ones that lost it all. Yet he strives to reach greatness, and endlessly searches for the precious relics.
The borders are shaky, and the Empire is on the brink of collapse. Civil war is threatening the lands, and the people are starving.
All has a price. Is the truth really worth it ?
The Beggar Alchemist was inspired by the ambiance of Dark Souls and A Song of Ice and Fire, where political schemes and alchemical artifacts intertwined to create a deep and complex universe filled with chaos and magical warfare.
There might be some mistakes, grammar related most likely, please bear it with me! I'm trying to improve as much as I can and any constructive criticism regarding the writing/plot/characters is more than welcome.
Finally, there is a use of Shakespearean English in which I am not an expert of, so if any of you have any sites of books I could read on the matter - like The Castle of Otranto - please link it, I'd love to read recommendations!
