Kay Micheals is an 11th grader who is somewhat peculiar by the standards of others. Her parents left Kay and her brother Josh at an orphanage when they were very young, due to this Kay harbors a lot of hatred for her parents and general society. Kay lived a somewhat normal life until she heard a gunshot from Jaguar Valley. As Kay investigates the noise she finds a scratched up rifle that was covered in blood, and she soon realizes that she is not alone.
