Vaughn takes a nasty fall into the depths of the Earth and emerges in the depths of Levipoll, a world dominated by monsters, where human refuges are few and far between and constantly on the brink of annihilation. But before he can join humanity, he must first find his way out of the abyss in which he's found himself. Doing so will push his survival skills to their fullest, force him to learn magic, and teach him why humanity avoids the abysses above all other places in a world filled with horrors. I'm naturally a number cruncher, so be warned that there may be some number crunching in this. I'm going to try to keep it mostly behind the scenes, and my plan isn't for this to end up as a hugely number crunchy book like some others on RoyalRoad (you know who you are).
