"Every soldier of the guard corps is supposed to upload a log of theirs in every two weeks or they will be considered dead." That is what they told me before sending me on this mission. They even told the statement with such a seriousness that I am left wondering if I am going to die. My name is antonio sevenstars and I am being sent to my death. Well, this is expected by every soldier of the guard corps. If the situation wasn't that dire, we wouldn't be leaving the black mountain. Right now our mission is to escort the scholars to the frozen peaks, a land present in the brutalest part of the north and manned by the brutalest people of the continent. This is after the scholars have destroyed a temple that is important to these people and the enemy is looking for any and all reasons to kill us. It is now the responsibility of me and a troop of three soldiers (the head office did not want to waste any more troops.) to guard a bunch of suicidal scholars, while at the same time trying to appease the very people that they have offended. Note- this is a rewrite of my previously published book. When editing my work I felt the changes that I was doing to the books would be better warranted with a rewrite then simply editing the chapters. That is why I am rewriting the book again.
