In the vast multiverse, Earth is just a low-level planet, devoid of any immortals or gods. Samuel Haze, a music-loving high school student, has his body taken over by a weakened immortal who fled to Earth. Years pass, and Sam has witnessed numerous atrocities committed by the Immortal in his body. Finally, one day, Samuel regained control of his body for a short time. During this period of time, he kills himself.   Samuel is reborn into a new world, one of magic, swords, fantastical beasts, and more. However, after learning that he has almost no talent for magic, he sets out to become a bard instead. Yet, Samuel has no idea just how deadly the Bardic Path truly is. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I came up with this story after creating my bard for D&D. I am a high-school student, so releases will be irregular, until I make a schedule for myself. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- During dialogue, slang and other terms, such as “gonna” or “ain’t,” will come up. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This synopsis doesn't really capture the point of the story. After I reach a certain amount of chapters and start releasing chapters on a regular basis, I'll change it myself or see if someone can do better.
