As I continued to walk in the direction where all the abnormalities randomly started occurring, I heard an aggressive female voice.

“Human, you dare trespass into my territory”

Nervously I answered back to the mysterious being

“Who is that? Where are you?”

Not long after the angry voice once again spoke

“Foolish human, when did you hear me give you permission to speak”

When I was just about to apologise I was suddenly overpowered by the mysterious voice

“ahh, sor..”

“SILENCE HUMAN!”

Shivers suddenly ran down my spine as I saw the sudden gale caused just from her yelling and was strong enough to uproot trees in the area. However, I knew that this being was probably one of the ruling beast of this territory that Emma told me about.

While I was still pondering in thought considering if it really was one of the ruling beast of one of the territories I was instantly snapped out of it once again except this time the killing intent in the beings voice had lessened.

“Human, why have you came here?”

My body was still shacking but this time in excitement instead of fear.

“I’m here to find one of the ruling beast I’ve heard about however I got lost on the way to one of the territories and ended up here”

“I see. Well human it’s your lucky day, I’m known as Persephone the bringer of death. “

“Nice to meet you Persephone.”

“Human, what do you want with us?”

“I… Um well I want to form a contract”

Once again, the anger and killing intent rose in her voice again.

“You want to… WHAT!”

“Um.. I want to for a contract”

“HOW DARE YOU HUMAN! I AM NOT YOUR SLAVE!”

Now I realised the reason for her sudden anger and felt a sense of guilt for not explaining myself.

“I’m sorry for not explaining myself; I meant a comradeship in the contract not a master and slave kind of contract.”

The killing intent once again decreased and the anger in her voice calmed once again.

“I see human. I apologize for the misunderstanding but you still can’t be classified as my comrade until you prove yourself to me”

“How can I prove myself?”

As soon as I heard her speak, I heard a sense of excitement lingering in her voice.

“Easy, all you have to do is fight me”

“Did you say fight you”

I saw a grin slowly appear on her face

“Yes, that is what said”

Not long after a grin appeared on my face from the excitement.

“Just what I wanted to hear”

“I like your excitement Human. Come with me too my home and rest, we will fight tomorrow, tonight we have a feast.”

“Sounds good too me.”

My blood started pumping from the excitement of the upcoming battle… and the free food of course.
