It was like any other peaceful day. Well at least it was supposed to be. All I remembered was a sound of a horn and bright lights that came right in front of my face in a split second. Before I knew it I was awoken inside a medieval like themed city. As I went to approach the city I was greeted by some old skinny man that was wearing rags for clothes.

“Boy, you’re probably wondering where you are?”

I immediately replied with a curious and intrigued expression “How did you know?”

The man let out a small chuckle and then explained me of my situation. I have been in a coma for 3 ½ years now. With the permission from my parents my consciousness was recently successfully activated inside a game called world of cultivation.

World of cultivation is an action RPG themed VR that is widely popular among the whole world because of its real life aspects of being able to taste, smell, touch, see and hear. It is also known as earth 2, where dreams are born.

And I was apparently the first human to have his whole consciousness be transferred into the game. I was also selected to be a beta tester and moderator for the game, for example when updates occur such as new weapons, skills and quest happen I would be the first to experiment.

I was also told that my life support would be guaranteed to continue for as long as I’m in this program and if the possibility that I wake up happens I would be paid for the work I would have done and possibly hired for later support in the future.

At that moment I felt a hype of anticipation and excitement rush through my body, thinking about my future journeys in this new world(s).
