Synopsis
He will be born again in the ire of chaos on the throes of a foreign land. He will be the one called upon to awaken the Renaissance.
When a mysterious invades his rehearsal dinner, Vasilios Bouras, a merchant’s son, awakens the soul of a Fae, the great Aiysara Turmon, to protect his home. However, the power proves too much for Vas to handle, and he loses control of his newfound abilities igniting his wedding in cerulean flames. Vas is then tried and arrested by The Magistrate, mages in service to the High-King, and imprisoned in a place reserved for the nation’s greatest threats. There Vas becomes a weapon pointed toward the protectors of The World Grove—the Fae—unless someone can tear him away from the clutches of his new masters.
Tsyraline Aisling, Leader-to-be of the Fae Riverfolk, longs to be reunited with her husband, Aiysara Turmon. After three lifetimes without him, she learns his return could bring about her people’s Final Death—the prophesized end of the Awakening cycle. Tsyra leaves her people and nation behind, hoping to keep Ysara from bringing about the world’s ruin and, hopefully, save him in the process. Otherwise, Tsyra will do what she must to protect her people.
