Synopsis
Glafira Harley thought she was done with the city of Barrow, but she was wrong. Desperate to solve the murder of her father, she returns to the city and enters a partnership with notorious assassin, Bali the cat.
After Bali's last (successful) job, things should really be looking up: she's home, finally, with full coin pouches and fuller stomach. What could be better? Unfortunately, things aren't looking up. With her last job haunting her, the strange behaviour of her best friend, and the sudden request for her own assassination, Bali doesn't have time to babysit an amateur detective. But, well, it could be fun, and what else is she going to do with her remaining time anyway?
The Assassination of Bali and Cho is a YA fantasy novel. While it discusses themes of death - both natural and unnatural - his is not depicted in graphic detail. The author (me) is also British and uses British English throughout.
