Namar Brandy an apprentice smith in a humble village learns during his coming of age ceremony that he has a talent for magic, enamored with the idea of fame and riches he sets off to the Academy and the big city, having unknowningly stepped into a world steeped with backstabbing and treachery, he must do his best to protect himself and his friends from the shadows that roam the market place and most importantly, turn a profit while doing it.   It is my first fiction so criticism would be both painful and appreciated.
