A collection of stories about a group of superheroes who fight not just super villains, but the corrupt government as well.  While they don't agree with each other politically, their names echoing their political positions, they are willing to work together to fight the corruption. This takes place in a world where super powers first appeared in WWII.  The secret for the super soldier formula was stolen several times by several countries and further developed, both by governments and pharmaceutical companies for profit.  Now many people, both government sanctioned and independent, have powers.  Some of those used chemicals to unlock their powers and some developed them naturally.  Still others rely on advanced technology, including the implants many nations developed to help combat the supers.  Regardless of how they got their powers, though, they must legally register with their government or risk being labeled a supervillain, a crime which carries the death penalty.
