In a world solely populated by elves… The Ciphers have long recorded the goings-on of the Thirteen Realms, though their order has fallen to obscurity and ruins centuries ago. Recently, however, there has been discovered an archive buried deep beneath the ground, in which there is hidden countless tomes, scrolls, and parchments detailing much history. Some of these pages have crumbled into dust, but many yet remain. In reading these lost histories there have been found many people of note. Men and women who raised and crushed realms, who moved mountains and formed nations, tamed seas and created rivers.  But in all of these legends, there are two men who seem of more note than all the rest. They are the Thaliondor brothers, and they lived during years of great turmoil, a time when realms threatened to shatter, an age when a great evil threatened all that was good and bright. These two men lived through much suffering, and it is the pages of their story that are being actively searched for and carefully preserved, released to the public as soon as they are found and archived. Forgive, dear reader, that the excerpts are not in order. The timeline should not be terribly strenuous to follow, however, as the effects and aftereffects of many main events make themselves quite known.  Welcome to… … the Age of the Obsidian Throne.
