Set in a medieval Europe-inspired dark fantasy world, a former mercenary now known as the "Black Blade," is out for revenge. After a tumultuous childhood, she finally finds someone she respects and believes she can trust, only to have everything fall apart when this person takes away everything important to her for the purpose of fulfilling his own desires. Now marked for death, the broken woman becomes condemned to a fate in which she is relentlessly pursued by demonic beings. Setting out on a dreadful quest riddled with misfortune, she's armed with a long curved blade and inhuman skills, will let nothing stop her, not even death itself, until she is finally able to take the head of the one who stripped her her humanity. Though as time passes and more problems arise, she soon realizes that revenge might not be an option. All rights of Berserk belong to Kentaro Miura. Plot and character variations will occur.
