Synopsis
Hard work is hard to let go in a world where god complex technologies are cheap to buy off the street.
“Nanite” Nona Nana Nash is an old spinster who works just fine making an old fashioned turkey from scratch despite her mysterious nature.
Pugnax Duncan is a college kid who got his hands on technology that should have been handled by an expert.
Now an mob of prehistoric pests who mugged its creator ruined the Thanksgiving day Turkey Nona put all her love and care in.
Together, the duo get thrust into a life or death battle against tens of hundreds little goblin mode therapods in Nona’s cozy cyberpunk apartment.
In a distant future of high tech lowlifes, authorities in riches, and an information free for all, Nona’s DIY kitchen skills and stubborn attitude go head to head against dinosaurs brought to life who ate their creator’s keys, wallet, cell phone and a clapper.
Yet Nona is as much not what she seems as Pugnax has a rite of passage via trial by fire.
All the grief, anguish and excitement come to a boil.
The dinosaurs are ready to hurl themselves against their targets with all the fury of a mob of gremlins against a spinster, a rich kid turned reluctant assistant and a surprising cat.
If our heroes don’t overcome the Thanksgiving menace, this Thanksgiving will be their last.
A holiday story set in a cyberpunk setting. What chills, spills, and thrills will polka-dot the reading experience?
