Inazuma – the land of eternity, of lightning and thunder. On their journey through the seven nations of Teyvat, Lumine and her flying companion Paimon head to the Inazuman islands, sealed off from the rest of world by their Shogun's decree. Though she travels across Teyvat only to reunite with her long lost brother, Lumine is pulled into the raging conflict between the nation's people and its leader: a war to determine whether individuals have the right to dreams and aspirations, and what "eternity" means in a transient world. Author's Note: I want people to be able to experience the Genshin Impact story through the format of a light novel, as true to the game as possible. The story is told through the traveler's own voice, first person limited. Paimon is now the floating emergency food who inserts snarky/cute comments when the context calls (or does not call) for her to speak. I have adapted the original (English) dialogue. However, I have added significant exposition and modified many portions for better flow / writing. The story of Genshin belongs to the writers and the team. I only wish to accentuate what I love about their world. Without further ado, please enjoy!
