Beasts have been terrorizing the world at night, their attacks getting more frequent as time goes on. No one knows where they're coming from, until Lydia Clearwater accidentally slips through a crack between worlds and discovers Below. Faced with the realization that this is where the beasts are coming from, she must work with Below's crown prince to stop the walls between their worlds from shattering.
