Earth is at war. Empress Regalia Sol, warlord from another universe, absolute ruler of the mighty Aeclissian Empire, has decreed that Earth is to be cleansed in fire. Only the bravery of Earth’s “superheroes” - individuals with extraordinary abilities, magics, or technology - give Earth hope in this war.  In the midst of all of this, a shadowy organisation brings together a collection of disparate “supervillains” - genetically engineered supersoldiers, magically empowered berserkers, and monstrous creatures - to complete a dangerous mission.  If they fail, humanity is doomed.
