The last surviving member of Team 8 on his last day searching the world for people before it is too late. This scene came to me and I don't currently have the desire to write a full tower story, but I felt compelled to write the scene.  It turned into something like a short story so I decided to publish it for fun as it is.  I may turn it into a book later when I have time and am done with my current projects.
