I clawed my way up. Up. Up. Towards the top. Towards the place in society where I can rest. I reached the middle and was satisfied. Then it all crumbled down. A trip gone wrong. A knife in my hand as I stared into the eyes of someone like me. Blood spurting as I tried desperately to live. Then laughter from those who looked at me as entertainment.
