Following the Tales of the Omniverse 1: The Founding of Mortlake City, this new short story continues to flesh out the worlds of the Omniverse, a universe shaped and controlled by the System, an all-knowing and all-powerful entity of unknown origins, where haughty Cultivators and skill-using originators cross paths and fight on their way to greatness. In this story, we follow the young heir of the Fravashi Clan, a powerful House within the Corolla Borealis Empire, as he fights traitors in his midst and makes decisions that will impact all the worlds he controls and, ultimately, planet AD279-972, good ol'Earth, itself.
