And while Picaro lives a free life full of the open ocean and thrilling adventure, he must learn harsh lessons in order to survive. This story is, stylistically: Lord of the Rings meets Mad Max meets Dungeons and dragons meets Pirates of the Caribbean. Each chapter / episode / scene is roughly between 500 - 2,000 words, give or take. This first release, the Cache of the Skeleton Key, is not complete! I'll definitely be writing more because this is the prequel / origin story of Picaro, the main character in a novel I am writing (first draft is finished - about ~400 pages). I'm writing this to see what I can uncover in the Myriad Isles to further build the world of Karobos. Going forward, I'm not sure if there will be complete arcs or I'll just release independent episodes in batches. I have much more to share, I'm just not sure what form the story will take yet.
