290 years ago, the Manarians landed on our planet. Since they colonized us, we have been playing catch-up with the galaxy.  Now, with access to modern technology, we have been excavating ancient texts and learning about ourselves, too. We are the Cannesians. These are our stories, and the stories of those in the galaxy at large.  Tales of Cannesia will be updated at least weekly. This is an ongoing project that takes place in a universe in which I am writing a novel.  Genres vary from story to story. For example, the first story is speculative/soft sci-fi, but the second story is fantasy with a mythos vibe.  There's a lot of "story within a story" going on, kind of like in 1001 Nights (aka Arabian Nights).  A working table of contents is available on the first page.
