A series of short stories concerning the denizens of the island-city of Avalon. Named for the mythical island of Arthurian legend, Avalon was built to be a haven of learning, innovation, and safety for mages in a world where magic had become a taboo. --- I am uploading stories to help me flesh out the setting and tone of the world and it's people as well as solidify my own writing style as I work on a longer-form fiction (Nominally "Towers of Avalon") set in the same world with some overlapping characters. As this will be my first published fiction, this will be updated every time I complete a story I think worthy of upload and will only be published here.
