Ash has recently found a new but dangerous friend. A young pup of the legendary Rev-Vísir. He has heard throughout his life of the mighty wolf-like creatures that are strong enough to tear through an entire village and fast enough to be gone before anyone noticed. At first when he found the pup he was ready to kill the monster but he saw the fear in its eyes and couldn't bring himself to do so. He and his pup Frae quickly became friends and his life is better than ever.  Everything falls apart when the Rev-Vísir attack his home Bjorn. Despite his efforts, father Chief Mir finds out about Frae. His father blames him for the attack on their village and exiles him from his home and family and the start of the long winter. Ash and Frae are forced to learn to survive together. Will they survive the winter and become strong together or will they fall to the perils that surround them.
