Love so often ends in tragedy when it's meant to bring light into the lives of all it touches. Someone can be stabbed through the heart out of the grief that was purely caused by love. This short story follows a woman as she grabbles with the choice she made a child to not fall into the grasp of love and how eventually she does. Only falling in love with another woman at a time when it was deemed as unholy as alcohol. The setting is the prohibition 1920s at an unnamed Gay Bar in NYC.
