When Julian volunteered to supervise a middle school field trip to Seattle in exchange for community service hours, he didn't think it would amount to much more than a boring day at the zoo. Instead of helping Ms. Thompson out by keeping unruly seventh graders in line, though, he'll have to deal with demon dogs, haunted forests, murderous plants, corpses and magic, and that's all in the first day. He'll have to be quicker and smarter than the thousand nightmarish things that live in the horrifying world he's been transported to if he wants to keep his group of survivors alive. And remember...
