There was no grand ceremony or any rites done in regards to Alec's final farewell from the spire. Rather he spent the last day there doing things that he believed would help someone else in his own shoes.
He started by making a much cleaner schematic for his sail boat, as well as the guide to make it in the least number of steps. Even leaving a miniature behind just so that whoever stumbled here would not have to start from scratch.
Next he went to the kitchen and grabbed a small breakfast made with the help of an array of spices that he would not be able to enjoy out in the sea. Even a number of fruits and vegetables would get bad halfway through the journey. Meaning he would have to rely on any sea food he could catch there.
After doing that he vacated the kitchen premises. Only leaving behind a book, with all of the recipes that he had recreated from the dishes back home. Stepping on the spiral staircase he reached the second floor where he walked past the flowers gardens.
Taking in the aroma there he soon reached close to apple trees, one of which he climbed up and plucked a fruit right off. Finishing the apple he then untied rope on his waist and outstretched it, then be tied it with the strongest branch of another tree jumped from there. Swinging on the tree branches he accurately timed his last jump, allowing him to land on the ground without hurting his legs much.
Doing so he then went to the third floor where throughout the months he had trained, sparred, swam, and gradually built his physique.
It was to the point he had never believe he could reach, all of which was thanks to the routine and a proper diet. Something he saw the difference especially after living years off a normal college student diet. Which he had changed to a healthier one in his final two years, and in the months following after graduation but not to this level.
Walking over to the excercise machines Alec then disassembled the machines one by one. After doing so he added a new part to each of them, completing each of the machine so that it could work well without his own rope.
Reconstructing one last gym equipment, which was the pull down machine, that Alec attached a handle and a wire to. With that done he made a last deep bow to the training grounds, and went downstairs in order to eat one last dinner there.

In the afternoon of the following day Alec stood there at the entryway of the spire, with Myr standing right in front of him and the doors behind him open. This was the last farewell for Alec as he was about to leave, for this he had made request to be seen off from the spire and not from the boundary.
If you spot this tale on Amazon, know that it has been stolen. Report the violation.
He made this ask while keeping in mind, that it would too much trouble for the other party to wait out in the sea. With all of this said and done, Alec then finally spoke to Myr.
"Thank you for housing me, feeding me, helping me learn, and most important of all saving me that day. If there is anything in my power that I could help you with, whether in present or in future, please tell me."
"Live a life of self fulfillment Alec. You have the qualities of a great person, don't let anything ever change that. This is all I can ask from you. Though if you ever encounter my master's grave outside, just pay adequate respect to her."
At that Alec solemnly nodded, keeping it in his mind to fulfill this simple task of paying respect. That he would have even done so otherwise, then Myr continued speaking further.
"May you reach your destination with full health and safety."
Saying so Myr then handed him what looked to be like a dreamcatcher.
"There are many insidious creatures which you think you have avoided, but can target you when you can least expect it. The mind is most vulnerable in it's sleep, to combat that you have to weave your own dream before sleeping. Have a safe journey Alec, farewell."
He then said his goodbyes, and turned to leave from the door. Where right outside was his sail boat that he pushed off, with practiced motion and use of telekenetic like force landing on the sea.
From there he sailed off possessing an air of somberness. That soon changed the moment he reached the thousand step radius away from the spire. His eyes narrowed just slightly and he unfolded his arms, in order to hold the rope tight with his one hand.
Right after him doing so a number those fish headed bi-pedal creatures came to the surface. While Alec could have easily skipped past them, through the usage of the handkerchief and ocean drum he waited.
The moment when the first one of those monsters reached close to Alec he lifted it off the sea floor with the help of his rope and on to the deck of his boat. After it landing there on his boat Alec then proceeded to throw two raw fishes inside it's mouth and loudly exclaim.
"Halt!"
Repeating that with the entire school of these fish monsters, Alec had a dozen or so of them standing still on his sail boat. That he had to speak the command of 'halt' to keep them at place, before the effect of the previous one ended.
Although it seemed tedious to repeatedly saying this, Alec knew he did not had to deal with these horrid creatures for long. Using all his means he increased the speed of the sail boat to be at it's maximum. Then soon encountering few flying fishes that he dealt much like he did last time.
After his Alec slowed his pace a little bit, recognising which monster's territory he was in this time. Keeping the sail boat at a sluggish pace, he then threw away half of the unwilling passengers on the boat one by one. Only saying one word to each of them closely, and that word was 'escape'.
Having gotten free of their immobile state each of them swam hurriedly. Part of this being their fear towards being captured again, and other was the influence of the Invocation which made them throw caution to the wind.
Each of them soon disappeared into the sea at rapid speeds, despite only swimming horizontally with all their effort.
Recognising the danger in the already turbulent waters, Alec then took a deep breath and shifted the mast to be at a different angle. Using the ocean drum he lifted the sail boat up, and using the height he then glided away to a long distance.
From there he first threw couple more jagged tooth fish creatures down, check their state of well being and landed accordingly before doing so again.
Having done that a number of time the small beads inside the drum soon grinded into dust. Which he brought new ones out of a pouch, and replaced them until they were of a quantity Alec knew worked best.
All the monsters having been finished Alec then utilised a new method. Lifting a part of the hull off he then transformed the sail boat, as the hull grew wider and a number of sharp objects coming out of it.
It almost looked like an open mouthed wood crafted sea creature, if not for the cabin and the mast which Alec then removed and pointed ahead like a horn. The mast's lower end was sharp and very much durable. While the sail had been removed from it, and like this Alec then made the boat move forward at full force.
