What happens in a world where even the most bug-like beings supervillains have trouble surviving?  After global warming caused famine the world has barely recovered and survival is hard with the corporations beginning to try and take control. If you had a choice of superpowers what would it be? Most would ask for the power to gain new powers. After all why not have all of the super powers. But with great powers comes someone trying to kill you for being powerful. Warning I have old people being the victims of a old of bad things.  This is because of the amount of drug treatments debt. something like 1.5 trillion in America  2022 That is what 3000 to 4000 dollars per person per year I just can not see any money being left for anyone over 65's     Anyone having a different opinion leave a comment  If you are born in America today you owe 98,769.91 dollars. Given that documentary, I saw with the opioid companies strolling out laughing past the people protesting their dead children I am going with a grim dark future.   The entire basis of the story is that global warming exists and that it causes a major famine. Super powers were developed to stop the extinction of humanity. However, corporations used the powers to make money in unethical ways. Giving children fizzy drinks that were laced with opioids when their consumer base all died out etc. My story is about a new super who has a decent super power with growth potential. As he is at the bottom of society he has to try and survive the corporations trying to kill him before he gains any power that could threaten their control and profits. The corporations are also getting desperate as various warlords are rising up to take power.
