However, he was surprised to find a new passion for metal working and jewelry making while taking an elective class chosen on a whim. His teacher, impressed by his enthusiasm, introduced him to an old friend who owned a long-standing jewelry shop: Alexander Athanasiou. Alexander was a curious creature; beautiful and warm, who sometimes used phrases Anderson only heard in old black and white movies.
