Jack is a teenager growing up in a small village that's part of the free states. A group of scattered communities outside the purview of the three powerful political entities that govern the continent. With a limited mana pool, Jack is unable to learn most forms of magic. Unaware of the cruelty of the world, Jack sets out to learn to use his weaknesses to his advantage in the pursuit of knowledge.
