The Darkness is ever-present, and it will always rise into the world, intent on bringing down everything that exists. The stars watched it, saw its growth, and despaired. This world would soon be corrupted, they said, and so they shined their light down onto the soil, providing the people below with the blessings of the stars. So were born the Guardians, they who wield the strength of the stars to fight off the building Darkness. Guardians were heroes, protectors of good and destroyer of evil. Everyone aspired to be one, and Jessica was no exception. But an awakening to become a Guardian could only be done by the Royal Star. It hadn't chosen her, and so Jessica was content with so. But fate doesn't end so abruptly, and the forces of Darkness grow forever still. The light of the stars may remain open, waiting for someone to grasp its hold. May the stars guide our way. In other words; A Magical Girl story somewhat mixed with Fantasy and Superhero elements.
