It's 3225. Humanity has been uplifted. Progression in technological, economical and militaristic fields has been accelerated, starting a thousand years ago. An extremely advanced precursor civilisation accomplished all of this; the Omnipotent, whom humans have never met. The downside of such quick growth is a lack of stability in the governing body known as Starbound. Thankfully, the Galactic Defence Armada - the military of Starbound - seems to lack these problems. Perhaps its the efficiency of the war council that runs it, or maybe its the war between the rebellion known as the Red Star Riders making everything more manageable? Who knows? What is known, however, is that until the cybernetically enhanced supersoldiers known as Lockheeds arrived, this war was evenly matched. But now, the Red Star Riders have prepared their response, and intel suggests that a new group - the Zephyorians - have risen to power in the military side of the Red Star Riders. Thankfully, the Galactic Defence Armada may still have the upper hand, if they can get their hands on the newest Omnipotent artefact and uncover its secrets... Accompanying the lethal Lockheeds are elite squadrons of spec-ops assigned to clear out rooms and secure locations. Some would consider these missions near-suicidal, but only the best are chosen; and for good reason. Levi Troy has had his life tipped on its head enough times already; he's pretty sure he can endure this next challenge.
