Ash Atlas is an idealistic teenager with a big dream: to become the greatest space ranger in history. But there’s one major problem: the ruling alien council prohibits humans from space exploration. As Ash attempts to gain entrance to the Space Cadet Academy, he must overcome the misgivings of his parents, outshine his rival, and most importantly, decide how much his dream is really worth chasing.
