*brief hiatus, going on vacation for two weeks* Captain Gandala is leading the Star Destroyer Doomhammer as the Battle of Endor happens. She's on the far side of the galaxy and finds out about the defeat as everything swirls into chaos. With the Empire collapsing around her, she's leading her ship through uncertain territory to keep everyone alive and protect the crew she loves. Bit of a gritty Legends feel but operating within the Disney canon. Some Star Trek, Some Battlestar Galactica, and some other influences all stirred together.
