Humans are quick to embellish and idolize their benefactors, oftentimes calling them heroes. Just as quickly they forget these heroes as well.  Given a second chance to redemption, Rei begins the work of rebuilding the faith of man. Doing so is hard enough, but humans are no more than livestock and wild game for the current world. In a despotic world where it seems the value of a human soul has plummeted, Rei must shoulder his past traumas while simultaneously trying to spark a fire in a world of darkness.
