They aren't at peace but they aren't attacking each other... on the surface at least. But that never mattered to the Lukiria, Lac'en. He's never planned to fight for his kinsmen anyway. But, unfortunately for him, his parents have been more involved in the war than he could ever imagine and he's about to be dragged down a wormhole of hate. He might survive... who knows?
