Not Treebeard, he long gone, but something green still lives. A shepherd of the forest the green is no more but a knight of the forest that once was but is no more. Knight’s the green, Green Knight the name which rides to play its part in Arthur’s game. Over, Gawain leaves with a silk green girdle as well as the Green Knight’s axe while it goes its Y way. Straight then the two paths, that's choice. Which path does the Green Knight choose?

Then Midnight rides in. Even darker, it’s black like death. Black is Death so Knight-no-longer-Templar gives up the 'Knight' to be even darker than Death itself. Thats a plague doctor till life becomes white again.

Life is white again and in recognition for his efforts in that dark time, doctor gets a plaque. Plucks up the courage to doctor his admiration for Puck and hopes Puck will be sick. Seeks him out Puck does and a deal with the demon is signed
