What would you do if you woke up in a blank white room and a mysterious voice told you that you'd been selected alongside more than twenty percent of earth's population to compete in an alien game show where the stakes were life and death before being dropped onto a mysterious planet? Cassidy Flynn, or Cash as his friends call him, is just one of those people. His butt hurts from the literal one meter drop, and he's in nothing but his underwear, but at least the aliens were nice enough to fix his broken legs.  He has to figure out how to play the game, learn to use the bizarre new abilities the mysterious voice and floating pop-ups keep giving him, and find allies all before he gets eaten by a massive lava snake, or talking mushroom, or gods know what.  Armed with nothing but a vintage laser pistol straight out of flash gordon and a magical combat shovel, Flynn will find himself allied with a middle-aged highschool gym teacher with the ability to summon monsters straight out of trading cards, and a university freshman-turned-plague doctor.
