Jack Forst is a detective who most know as the grinning detective for obvious reasons. He handles the cases that plague a city sitting on the edge of two realities, the magical and the non-magical. Jack is drawn into a case involving the elite of New York City's magical upper crust with a detective partner who's just learned that magic isn't just real, it's dangerous.
