Synopsis
Nine Gods. Nine Ordeals. Last Chance.
Life as we knew it has ended when Nonary Gods kidnapped humanity to a new reality. All just to play a game. A deadly one.
The goal is simple enough. Overcome Nine Ordeals, reach Divine Throne, ask for a wish. Each Ordeal is a world of itself, filled with secrets and working by its own game-like rules. The further you go, the greater is the danger—and reward, if you’re lucky and capable enough to survive.
Edward King isn’t a hero. In fact, he's more of a villain. And yet, the duty to free the humanity from its grim fate has fallen on him. Given nine attempts to save the world, he made it to the Divine Throne not once, but thrice. Except, each time he was too little too late.
Ed experienced eight failures, but ninth time is the charm, right? He knows every Ordeal World as the back of his hand—every little detail, every hidden secret. He has all the knowledge and skill he needs to speedrun the Apocalypse. What could possibly go wrong?
How about everything.
