Synopsis
Julia Taber, the obsessive boba-milk-tea-loving detective, makes the single most important discovery in the history of cold-case detectivery: dead witnesses can talk. And if dead witnesses can talk, they can identify their murderers.
They’ll need to speak up soon if she wants to catch the killer behind a New York subway bombing, one who threatens to strike again. This case not only puts the public at risk, but stirs up the darkest specters from her past. Using her superior intellect and the limits of her will, can she bring the full weight of justice to bear?
