In the multiverse, a new Link is formed every so often. Gods stir, factions change, and a general upheaval of sorts occurs during the period of integration. Individuals in the first generation of an integration typically trend towards either being incompatible with the multiverse and die because they refuse to adapt, or they thrive after being initiated into the System, which removes limiters on power, making as truly limitless world where anything is possible. Jax was the former, but Fate changed him. Three chance encounters, and the Jax of old is dead, replaced with a man who realizes both the cost and opportunity of this new world. Jax will not become another faceless mortal in a long line of history books; he will write the history books.
