Seshethara Grace is the last disciple of the School of Living Shadows.  Sealed away by a ritual conjured from her master’s last breath, she's spent the past six years at the top of a lonely tower, in the middle of a city overrun by horrendous beasts. Even for an accomplished ritualist like her, reclaiming the grounds of her once-sprawling school should be all but impossible. But she will retake her city, even if she must dissect the corpses of her assailants and fashion them into weapons whose power will blot out the night sky.  As long as she lives, the City of Scripts will not fall. — - — Just a note: This is just a short story that I decided to continue writing. I don't really have a direction or ending in mind (it may not end at all), and the chapters after chapter 1 will definitely not be of the same quality as the original portion. Don't expect too much. Also, I've tagged the story as LitRPG but the system is very unlike normal LitRPG and the stat screens probably won't come in for a while. The system itself will be made by the MC (if I end up getting there). I don't have the gore warning because I think I keep it fairly tame and the magic system helps, but if you think I should include it tell me.
