Poor Rick. He was spat out of the New York City education system with few qualifications. Chief among the ones he has; he is expendable. So in 1963, he volunteered for the Blue Cord. When he returned the Bronx was burning to the ground. That was the late 70's. He spent six of those years away in The Nam and a full ten years in the Army. He was infantry. Meaning sleeping outdoors and be tasked with the worst jobs the army has; killing people and digging holes. He was good at both. Very professional. Until he wasn't. Dishonorably discharged and after spending a few years of his life in Leavenworth, he has been able to use a few of his army skills to great advantage. He has made a career of digging holes and sleeping outside.  He sleeps outside year-round now: to save money for suds and fried chicken. According to him; he is living the life.  Well, buddy get ready to have that life twisted inside out. It starts with a job in the subway. One weird dude, who is paying for today's suds and chicken. And after a wicked ride that shouldn't be...  Join Rick as he leaves the "Up" of The Bronx and enters what might be considered pure madness of the New York City Under World.
