Oake 'Durogaea', a 19-year old young man was raised by a Dryad and a bunch of other eccentric legendary creatures. Now, upon contact with other humans, Oake is motivated to set out into the wider world to find greater challenges, or more amusing things to do, as he would say. Join Oake on his adventures as he meets new friends in a civilized human world he will have to adjust to. Or they just might have to adjust to the boorish fella named Oake, take it or leave it! ------------------------- This is my first story that I'm sharing with others. As someone that struggles with fear of failure and being a perfectionist, I tend to keep going back and rewriting first chapters even before I finish my tenth chapter. So unlike my previous 10 stories that were torture, I've decided to just go ahead and release as I go and just enjoy the ride. I hope you'll enjoy it at least. And if not, oh well, at least I wrote something without being able to edit it and drive myself crazy. Ha!
