In a small rainy town, in a world of magic where monsters, fey, spirits and gods all roam the land and skies, a boy is born without a soul. Renn Walker grows up unsure of why or how he is still alive. Apprenticed to the local apothecary, Renn spends his days outside the protective fence that surrounds the village, gathering herbs and various materials while hiding from monsters and dangerous fey. But as time goes on, he begins to see that not having a soul hides something of immense proportions, something that affects every encounter he has with non-human creatures. A secret he is not allowed to know, but one he is beginning to remember. ~ Soft Rain is intended to become a webcomic after I finish writing and correcting it.
