A traveling bard happens upon a scroll with music written on it.  After he plays it at a tavern in the town of Bifabad in the contested lands, a priest of a god that doesn't exist determines that it is a part of the oversong; a song that when performed can unmake all magic and give the performer power over all forms of magic.  At the same time, the tavern owner's girlfriend is kidnapped by demons who are seeking the song for an unknown master.  The tavern owner and the bard along with a female dwarven warrior, a telepathic wolf, and the tavern's cook who has a cognitive disability all are forced to flee the city and search for a way to destroy the song and at the same time find the Tavern owner's girlfriend.   This is an ensemble, found family style epic fantasy. Chapters will hopefully be posted regularly but that's rather aspirational at the moment.  I will work to post as best as I can.
